If you are an author or publisher and would to submit a book for review, please contact me! I am accepting review books at this time, and I do not have a huge list to get through. If you are anxious for an honest-from-the-heart review, then you found the right person. I do not discriminate against genre, but I do like to make sure I resonate with your material. However, I am not much of a fan of extreme bloody gore and overdone erotica. I do look forward to hearing from you.

Policies:
1) I do not accept pdf files, e-books or emailed documents for review. I am not a fan of being on my computer that long or printing that much paper.
2) I do accept manuscripts.
3) Books are reviewed within four weeks or sooner, depending upon the load I may have. I do enjoy keeping in touch with publicists and authors and I will email my thoughts first before posting reviews. I do hold a contract with another, so those books are priority. Books to read and review are listed below under "Currently Reading and Reviewing".
4) I am not fond of posting negative reviews. If I cannot get through your book for whatever the reason is, I will contact the publisher/ author and express my feelings in the best way possible. However if is the will of those involved to still proceed with the review, I will do so in the best manner possible.

Ann Hauer: The Book Nook's Reviewer!
I am known by many things to those around me in my life… A Wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend and a therapist. I am a Certified Reflexologist and Massage Therapist and I currently work from my professional home studio. When I am not working with others, I am playing with and entertaining my five-year-old son, as he is the center of my world! Other hobbies include writing (poetry, creative and blogging for my work); or fiddling with some artistic craft as I enjoy painting (watercolor & acrylic), stained glass painting and candle making. I also make my own aromatherapy items: lotions, lip balms (or cuticle/dry skin balm), powders, facials, etc. for the body… it’s all natural and it is very fun and relaxing for me. When I am not doing any of the above, chatting or networking with friends, I escape with a book. I have started this ‘book review’ site as I am hoping to turn it into a wonderful full-time way to help aspiring authors become noticed, especially as I enjoy reading and it is not often that I am not without a book.
I am busy daily with a young child attending First Grade, and I am blessed to say that my little boy loves reading as much as I do! It is wonderful to see a child learn about the places they visit in their imagination as they begin to comprehend more in stories.
Reviewing books has become a desire of mine over the past years. Sometimes, when one picks up a book that just moves the heart, soul and spirit so much… one must just share their thoughts with the world to express that joy felt. That is how I sometimes feel after getting through a book that I cannot put down. The only sad thing after reading the story is I miss the anticipation and suspense of ‘what happens next’.
When I can become ‘one’ with the character, or relate to the character in some way or on some level, then I feel that is a story worth sharing and spreading the word on.
